There are some problems that many reps face with MLM marketing:
1. No upline sponsor support.
Often when a person first joins a new MLM marketing program, they are vulnerable and need a lot of support from someone in their upline team.
In many situations, the upline sponsors are not actively helping and supporting their downlines. This will happen a lot when the uplines are simply sponsoring as many people as they can with no regard to what happens to them after they get sponsored.
In many of the typical MLM marketing programs, it is important that the new rep gets immediate assistance from a upline team member, or support training website that you have. Otherwise they do not have as great of a chance of survival in MLM marketing.
2. New MLM marketing rep is not able to sell.
This is a major factor as to why most people do not do as well MLM marketing. By using standard MLM methods, you have got to sell and learn how to speak at opportunity meetings etc.
3. The new MLM’er does not know how to generate quality leads.
This has to be the next biggest reason most people fail in MLM marketing.
Here is what normally happens in MLM marketing. The new distributor rep has just signed up in an exciting MLM business opportunity. He is now taught by the manuals, meetings and typical MLM training that he should now just go and share his new business opportunity with his friends, neighbors and relatives.
Quite often, he is not comfortable with this, and if he is typical, he will have many sleepless, tossing and turning nights. He just doesn’t want to “impose” on his friends! He would feel a lot more comfortable just presenting his opportunity to strangers.
4. No actual system of duplication.
If you are going to succeed in an MLM marketing company then you need to have a duplicable system for your team to plug into.
Learning how to sell, or to speak and conduct a business opportunity meeting is not duplicable. Only very few people will actually do this. Here again, is a very important reason a lot of would be MLM’ers do not succeed and quit the business.
5. The MLM marketer is not confident in the MLM marketing company.
Often when a new person joins an MLM business opportunity, they will join based on the hype that was presented to them and after the dust settles all the excitement will die off too.
You must pick a well established and financially stable MLM company that is at least two years old with very reputable products and services. This way, you will feel confident and believe in the company that you are promoting. There is nothing quite like being able to “tell the complete truth” to your prospective customers.
6. They do not have a long term plan.
Building a new business takes time, and this is also true with an MLM marketing business opportunity as well.
It can often take several months before you see much of any real financial results occur with your MLM marketing business. You need to set your mind that you are going to stick with the new MLM company for at least a year or two. That just makes good business sense.
